She walks like a New York girl, talks like a New York girl, and owns way too much black like a New York girl. She's never lived outside of the city, and doesn't intend to anytime soon. Her sense in fashion is right on, and she is always up to date on the latest styles. Her obsession with style started off as a fun hobby, but she'll even admit it has gotten out of control. Her wardrobe is worth well over what she paid for her flat. Vanity is definitely her worst trait. She fears getting old and out of shape. She's constantly buying products for her skin and never leaves the house without her hair done up nicely or makeup on. Along with her vanity, she can be quite selfish. Her own personal needs almost always go before others.
She enjoys socializing with people, and often throws huge dinner parties for her colleagues and friends. Audrey is very talented at event planning. If she didn't have her current job, she probably would have ventured into that field. When she attends other people's parties she's the life and soul of it. She's completely unafraid to talk to strangers. She's also quite the flirt and enjoys chatting up members of the opposite gender. Audrey has a huge, gregarious personality, and she's proud of it.
People often mistake her for being some dumb blonde New Yorker, but she isn't. Audrey graduated near the top of her class at NYU for English. When it comes to writing, she is very good. It takes her a long time to write something, and she almost always misses her deadlines. But when she does finish, it's usually brilliant. She can be a hypocrite in the face she misses deadlines but can't tolerate others missing deadlines.

HISTORY: Audrey Hope Collins was born and raised on Park Avenue to Henry Collins, a well known lawyer, and his lovely wife, Hannah Collins. For nine years, she lived as an only child. Her mother taught her how to be a proper little lady. She learned how to eat properly, dance properly, dress properly, and act properly. The little girl quite liked learning how to behave; she felt like she was doing her parents proud. Whenever her mother threw parties, she'd get all dressed up and dance until her bedtime. She loved parties. They made her feel so elegant and grown up. After those golden nine years ended, her mother had another child. This time it was a girl who her parents named Hannah. Audrey did not like having to share her parents' attention with someone else. She quickly got very jealous of her baby sister.
Whenever her mother asked her to play with Hannah, Audrey threw a tantrum. She wanted nothing to do with the baby. Audrey isolated herself from Hannah. She loved going to school because it was away from her sister. Audrey made a lot of friends in primary school; she was extremely popular. After elementary school, her parents sent her to a prestigious middle school. There, she learned she had a talent for writing. In seventh grade, her short story won a prize in the school contest. She continued writing and started keeping a journal. Not only did the journal help her with her writing, but it allowed her to vent her feelings in a non destructive way.
Once middle school was over, her parents sent her away to Hawthorne Academy. It was the best private school in the city, and Audrey's father graduated from there. She did well in the hard curriculum, but she was not the top of her class. In high school, there were too many distractions, so she never really studied. She was captain of the cheerleading team, the editor for the yearbook, and the most popular girl in school. Her social life overtook her academic life. Her grades weren't bad by any means, they just weren't stellar. Meanwhile, Hannah excelled in her academics. Her parents were oozing with pride for their younger daughter, and it made Audrey extremely jealous.
After graduation, she applied to New York University and got in. During her first semester at college, she partied a lot. She had alcohol underage and hooked up with a lot of the older male student population. Her grades were not very good, and she knew she had to shape up. She stopped drinking and partying as much and focused on her academics. She started off as a law major, hoping to follow in her father's footsteps, but she found out she wasn't very good at it. Her mind was not logical enough to come up with airtight arguments and reasoning. Instead, she rekindled her love for writing, and switched to English with a minor in Creative Writing. She excelled, and graduated towards the top of her class.
She went out into the workforce after earning her degree. She got an internship at The New York Times, and got her first apartment in midtown Manhattan. Her parents offered to give her some financial help, but Audrey was insistent on doing it herself. She wanted to earn her success, not have it handed to her. After completing a successful internship, she was hired as a columnist. She worked vigorously, trying desperately to move up the hierarchy. During her career at the Times, her boss started to flirt with her. It was clear he liked her, but she knew he had a wife. It made her uncomfortable. One evening he made an advance on her, but she managed to get away. The next day she quit.
Audrey applied to various magazines, hoping to get something. The New Yorker hired her as a writer. She enjoyed her job, and was soon an editor. When she had enough funds, she got a better apartment. She became very close to the editor-in-chief. He was an older man, and an excellent writer. Eventually he passed away, and as his last request, he wished for her to take his place. Surprised and honored, Audrey took it without even thinking about it. To celebrate, she started looking for a place on Park Avenue. When she had enough, she moved into a beautiful flat. Now she works in her dream job while living a glamorous life.
